A yellow silk gown with pinked cloth-of-gold sleeves

The gown is of a yellow silk damask and the sleeves of a white silk cloth of gold pinked with nested diamond shapes.
It is based on an engraving of a "noble French woman" by Jean Jacques Boissard from 1581(this can be found either in
Arnold's Queen Elizabeth's Wardrobe Unlock'd, figure 181, or on the website of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art).
I wear it with a French hood and an open starched ruff.
