Vintage Renfaire Gown, laced up center front,
square-necked chemise, pleated petticoat, stockings, veil, pouch
I made this gown years ago, and it is obviously a bit of a potpourri of
styles. It's washable, though, so I take it camping. It is actually a bodice
and skirt. The lacing (which should really be somewhere other than center
front on this style of gown) should be spiral instead of criss-cross. Unfortunately,
because the lacing holes line up, spiral lacing of this bodice produces
an offset at the top and bottom edges.
