This gown was recycled from an old blue velvet houppelande that I made long
ago and some beautiful blue and silver brocade pieces
that I inherited from my grandmother's fabric stash. Please note that the
blue veil is theatrical rather than historical and that this gown
would be worn with a ruff (open or closed), not with a bare neck. You can
